From 39bcee099639093a2cf0c6042e545eca0fe81ca4 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Laura Abbott <lauraa@codeaurora.org> Date: Thu, 22 May 2014 14:38:48 -0700 Subject: [PATCH] arm: Add option to skip buffer zeroing The DMA framework currently zeros all buffers because it (righfully so) assumes that drivers will soon need to pass the memory to a device. Some devices/use case may not require zeroed memory and there can be an increase in performance if we skip the zeroing. Add a DMA_ATTR to allow skipping of DMA zeroing.
